We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Analyst to join our Distributor Services Team. Reporting to the Director, Distributor Services, the Distributor Analyst will play a pivotal role in leading, managing, and supporting projects of varying scales. This position involves analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing solutions to implement change. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external business partners to drive positive change.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Represent Distributor Services on diverse projects, including new product implementations, conversions, and system enhancements.

  • Determine commission requirements, update procedures, revise compensation schedules, and conduct UAT and post-validation testing while effectively communicating with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Deliver high-quality financial analysis and administrative support to resolve complex escalations and investigations.

  • Identify, analyze, and implement optimal solutions for errors, problems, and business needs.

  • Address non-standard issues by establishing reliable processes and ensuring a comprehensive understanding.

  • Consult with colleagues and advisors on sensitive and complex matters.

  • Drive process improvements by identifying barriers and recommending solutions.

  • Collaborate with supporting departments to enhance service delivery and resolve potential issues.

  • Analyze trends in advisor issues and business practices, assisting in the development of action plans.

  • Anticipate and manage business impacts, building business cases to support recommended actions.

  • Research and resolve complex issues, analyze data, and communicate findings and recommendations to management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to identify issues and develop solutions.

  • Strong attention to detail, a proactive learning mindset, and a willingness to seek clarification when needed.

  • Superior organizational and priority management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Advanced influencing, negotiation, and conflict management capabilities.

  • Proven coaching and mentoring skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level or higher.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Expertise in project management and business analysis methodologies, tools, and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (French & English) is an asset

  • Extensive knowledge of specific business products, services, and processes.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with strong presentation abilities.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Distributor Services workflows and procedures, as well as the functionalities, complexities, and limitations of our systems.

  • Proven team player with leadership qualities, serving as a role model for colleagues in Distributor Services.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand the broader context, facilitating sound and creative problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Proficient in conveying complex technical information clearly and appropriately to various audiences.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances.

  • Quick learner with strong collaboration skills, engaging effectively with internal and external business partners.

  • Skilled in influencing and making a significant impact.

  • Adept at investigating complex, high-impact, and time-sensitive cases and business challenges, with a focus on relationship management, situational communication, and conflict resolution.

Salary range is expected to be between

$57,675.00 CAD - $96,125.00 CAD
