We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver multiple IT initiatives for a well-established post-secondary institution. Working closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams, you will ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of internal projects in alignment with PMO standards. This is a hybrid role requiring a mix of remote work and on-site presence in Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and risk registers.

• Oversee full project lifecycle from initiation through to delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

• Lead cross-functional project teams and facilitate regular stakeholder communication.

• Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure appropriate change management practices are applied.

• Produce and present regular status reports, steering committee updates, and business case documentation.

• Ensure the use of appropriate project management methodologies, tools, and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• PMP certification (or equivalent experience in project delivery).

• 8–10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years leading large-scale IT projects.

• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong skills in risk management, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration capabilities.

• Experience working in a structured PMO environment is an asset.
