Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking a Senior Special Advisor to support an IM/IT Implementation of a Training platform. The Bilingual Senior Special Advisor will be assisting with the development of the IM/IT Implementation and Release Plan synchronizing it with the Master Implementation Plan (MIP) and Program Schedule.  

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Update IM/IT Requirement Changes using the DOORS application
  • Act as the Bilingual Subject Matter Expert during the IM/IT Systems Engineering Process assisting the Change Manager with Change and Release Planning
  • Development of the IM/IT Program Implementation Plan
  • Develop Bilingual Presentation Slides for the key stakeholder meetings
  • Act as the Bilingual Subject Matter Expert during the IM/IT Implementation
    • Support review and assessment of the qualified suppliers deliverables against the System Architecture Document (SAD), Maintenance Support Plan, Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the IM/IT Technical Specification
    • Analyze the proposed solution against the IM/IT requirements and identify any concerns or areas that need clarifications
    • Provide advice and recommendations to Management and key stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

  • ITIL Certification
  • ten (10) years of experience in Business Consulting
  • five (5) year of experience within the past ten (10) years working in program management on a Major Capital Project implementing a Training Information Management System
  • two (2) years of experience in the last seven (7) years doing requirements definition or system implementation for a Training Information Management System.

Education

A relevant degree/diploma is required
