Are you passionate about storytelling? Are traditional storytelling styles holding you back? Do you have the courage to be creative? Then CityNews is looking for you. We have an opening for a Full Time Multi Media Content Creator on our CityNews Calgary team.

What you will do…

  • Work with a dynamic team to write, voice, edit and publish news stories which capture daily life in Calgary and Edmonton.
  • Collaborate with producers in Calgary and Edmonton to make editorial decisions both in terms of news stories and content running on Alberta 24/7 stream.
  • Collaborate with teams across the country to manage livestreams with a strong focus on Alberta content.

What you will bring…

  • A passion for storytelling - you know what makes a great story and know how to tell it.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple pieces of media while updating the playlist for Alberta 24/7 Stream
  • Experience in voicing and editing.
  • A self-starter with a can-do, solution-oriented attitude
  • An understanding of multi-platform coverage
  • Because news never stops - you are prepared to work evenings and weekends.
