Salary: From 20.00 to 25.00 per Hour
 

Job Title: AR Collections Specialist
Location: Remote 
Start Date: Monday, June 23, 2025
Duration: Until end of July with possibility of extension.
Compensation: $20–25/hr
Schedule: 

  • Weekdays: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Weekends: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (weekend availability is required)

 
Our client, in the healthcare space, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections Specialist to join on a project-based contract.

This fully remote role requires strong communication skills, excellent follow-through, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be proactive in resolving outstanding accounts, and have full flexibility, including mandatory weekend availability. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage outbound AR collection calls and follow-ups

  • Maintain accurate customer account information using QuickBooks

  • Monitor and resolve outstanding balances in a timely manner

  • Document all collection activities and communications

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues

  • Meet daily/weekly collection and follow-up targets

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality standards

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in AR collections

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks is required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Must be available to work weekends and evenings

  • Experience in a healthcare or financial services environment is an asset

  • Must be located in the GTA for equipment pickup/training
