Salary: From 22 to 23 per Hour
 

Our client in the non-profit sector is seeking a diligent and proactive Customer Service Representative with a strong background in high-volume email management to join their team. This role focuses primarily on email communication, administrative support, and occasional reception coverage. It’s an excellent opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization within a supportive team environment. This is an 11-week contract with strong potential for permanent placement and requires working fully onsite.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle 200–300 emails per day, ensuring timely, professional, and accurate responses; triage messages and escalate when necessary.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for candidates and the general public, responding to inquiries about their application or certification status.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the team, particularly after reception coverage duties.
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance and Administration and support a team of approximately 15 staff members.
  • Provide front-desk coverage as needed, ensuring professional and courteous service.

 

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in customer service roles, ideally involving email-based communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs, and email support tools.
  • French is considered an asset but not a requirement.
  • Empathy and resilience are essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to judge when to act independently versus when to escalate issues are critical to success.
