Ready to steer the ship? Agilus is recruiting for a Director of IT in the Real Estate Development sector in North York, Ontario. Reporting to the COO/CFO, the Director of IT will be responsible for the management, implementation, support and training of pertinent business systems. Position will work closely with third-party IT support service and technology providers, stakeholders and project committees to ensure consistent and successful delivery of each software application. A typical day: Develop and implement strategic plans for IT maintenance, improvements, and upgrades Lead all phases of the business systems implementation including planning, testing, execution, and implementation as well as assisting in implementation of upgrades and enhancements Research potential IT vendor alternatives, propose solutions, and manage contract negotiations Create and update IT policies and procedures company wide Lead meetings and training sessions, online or in-person, as well as group sessions Demonstrate good leadership skills with a positive attitude and ability to motivate others Successful candidates will have: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or similar Preferably 5-8 years experience in building and managing an IT team within a mid-size organization Experience in an IT role within construction/real estate development is a must Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, and time management skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously Familiarity with SalesForce, Constellation, Yardi, and/or Blackline is an asset Experience in managing expectations and working in a multi-user/multi-division environment Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with users, management, and project teams What's in it for you: Base salary starting at $180K, dependent on experience Bonus eligibility Group RRSP Competitive vacation allotment Comprehenesive benefits including extensive Employee Assistance Program Positive corporate culture - think massage chairs on site, snack delivery, and regularly planned fun team building events Let's connect!
