As a Behavioral Detection Officer Security Guard, you will focus on identifying suspicious behavior and potential threat while preventing and mitigating any security risks posed to travelers and clients at the airport.

Responsibilities for a Behavioral Detection Officer Security Guard

  • Screen passengers and their belongings
  • Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
  • Manage access control
  • Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
  • Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
  • Answer questions in person or by phone
  • Write incident reports and communicate security concerns

Qualifications for a Behavioral Detection Officer Security Guard

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Previous airport security guard experience will be considered an asset 
  • Must be a Candian citizen or permanent resident
  • Must possess great communication skills
  • Hold a valid security license (we can provide this for you)
  • Hold a full Saskatchewan class 5 drivers; License
  • Have a clean criminal record and eligible to obtain RAIC (Security clearance)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
