Reporting to the Senior Director of BI and ERP, the Director of Wireless BI will lead external reporting and governance, along with analytics, around Wireless subscribers in addition to IBRO/IBNO management. The successful candidate will have an understanding of V21 data and a proven track record in leading change implementation.
What you'll be doing:
• Own the methodology / definitions for KPIs used for external wireless subscriber reporting and related metrics; work with key stakeholders for alignment as needed
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all wireless BI reporting frameworks, recognizing its critical role in reliable decision-making, governance, and external subscriber reporting
• Communicate methodology, definitions and ensure alignment across organization where appropriate
• Directors and VP stakeholders update on a regular basis
• Provide governance around subscriber and Postpaid IBRO framework and databases for all wireless teams
• Lead the design, development and rollout of Chatr IBNO framework and data for all wireless teams
• Continue to drive the platform for 'one-source of the truth', working with cross functional teams for alignment
• Establish methodology for any new metrics or new scope used in BI Tools, including alignment with Finance and cross functional leaders
• Implement process improvements while leveraging your experience to balance business objectives, and project costs and timelines
• Identify opportunities for subscriber growth, revenue growth and cost efficiencies
What you have:
• Deep understanding of Rogers Wireless and Connected Home systems
• 10+ years of experience in Wireless data analytics with in-depth knowledge of billing system source data (Postpaid and Prepaid)
• Analytical skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity and make sound decisions
• Always demonstrates Rogers values and leads by example
• An individual who is focused on delivering results with integrity
• Demonstrated ability to deliver large scale cross functional projects, balance technical and business acumen while gaining alignment across teams.
• University Degree in data analytics, computer science or technology
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is a plus
• Familiarity with Tableau or similar Business Intelligence visualization tools
