Salary: From 85.00 to 100.00 per Hour
 

Role: Cutover/Release Manager - Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate comprehensive Cutover Assessments, identifying scope, impacted services, and stakeholder roles.
  • Create and manage detailed Cutover Plans encompassing milestones, deployment strategies, risk management, contingency, and rollback protocols.
  • Lead execution of Cutover Plans, ensuring quality through preparation, dry runs, and production phases, while minimizing business impact.
  • Establish clear Go/No-Go criteria, orchestrate the execution of Cutover steps, and manage transitions to steady-state operations.
  • Capture and document lessons learned, fostering continuous improvement for subsequent project phases.
  • Deliver project-specific cutover artifacts, including SIT Build, UAT Build, Production Cutover plans, and weekly/daily status updates.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 8 years of combined experience in project management and Cutover Planning, including SaaS deployments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across internal and external teams, leveraging networks for best practices.
  • Strong customer focus, with demonstrated skills in active listening, feedback-driven improvements, and consistent follow-through.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all management levels.
  • Mature problem-solving capabilities, organizing complex topics into accessible language.
  • Experience working with external software vendors to ensure seamless integration and coordination.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and IT resiliency initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with managing legacy system transitions, decommissions, and SaaS integrations.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel and Microsoft Project for Cutover Plans.
