Summary of responsibilities:
The Senior Advisor, Program Coordination is responsible for developing plans, strategies and briefing material for senior management and various committees. The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and leading key initiatives, and advising management on action plans, budgets, activities and other projects as they relate to CATSA’s mandate as well as maintaining an essential communication link between the Vice-President's Office, Directorates, and other branches in the organization. The Senior Advisor, Program Coordination performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have:
• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a specialization in political science, social science, business, communications or another speciality relevant to the duties of the position.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience planning, organizing, and coordinating program/project implementation.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience performing quality control of high-level management materials; conducting research and producing reports, briefing notes, presentations, and communiqués.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience providing analysis, strategic advice and guidance to various management levels, including senior management.
• Strong written and interpersonal skills including the ability to brief senior management in a succinct and timely manner.
• Experience in liaising, establishing and sustaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders, internal and external.
• Experience tracking projects and producing reports/updates.

• Experience supporting project management activities.
• Experience editing documents for senior management audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and programs used to modify, update or edit PDF documents (Adobe Acrobat).
