On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

The Access Strategy team is looking for a Manager to help drive our access strategy program to key customers across Canada in Bell’s traditional and non-traditional serving territories.  The successful candidate will be part of a small team – reporting to a Senior Manager.  The successful applicant will provide strategic guidance to various cross-functional teams in an effort to expand Bell’s fibre footprint, monetize assets and reduce payments to third party suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and technical skills and be able to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the workflow with cross-functional teams to ensure the program is set-up and maintains momentum (i.e. working close with Network, Finance, Delivery and Sales)
  • Work closely with the Carrier Relations’ Team as it relates to 3rd party supplier agreements, new vendor opportunities and potential partnerships
  • Maintain Key Metrics to report back to BBM Executive team on the overall performance of the program
  • Ensure national coverage is maintained – in particular for key regions and customer segments, in particular strategic customer base and commercial markets
  • Supports Deal Team in optimizing the design and improving the overall economics allowing Bell to retain and win customer bids
  • Contribute to the overall National program – in conjunction with the Business Intelligence team and report back to their Senior Manager and Director, as well as the Executive team

Critical Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Program or Product Manager (or other managerial position)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (in particular Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent financial knowledge and reporting capabilities
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Great team player
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • BCom/BSc/BA in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • Previous telecom experience
