HR Advisor is the primary point of contact for managers and employees on employee relations and performance management matters. HR Advisor will partner with managers and HR Business Partners on manager coaching, organizational changes, and HR programs & processes. Responsibilities ER Issue Resolution Assesses, diagnoses, and coaches managers and employees through complex employee relations and performance management issues; through process coaches and develops managers resulting in their improved understanding and ability to prevent and/or manage future issues Receives & resolves HR / ER queries escalated from HRSS Flags and reports issues that should be handled elsewhere, e.g. by HRSS, HRBPs or COEs HR Programs & Process Executes HR programs and coach managers on HR process, including interpretation of local requirements Executes implementation of people change projects, including consultations Manages Pulse results and plans at a country level Delivers / executes global programs (e.g. GPS, OA, talent reviews) Understands legal & regulatory environment and country compliance requirements· Manages local union/wc/social partner relationship and local employee representative bodies where in place, including development of local union / works council agreements. (escalate situations involving external union officials) Manager Coaching & Development Proactively coaches managers in team effectiveness, workforce planning, and management development May include training and development facilitation for manager development, team and management effectiveness, etc. Advises, coaches, and guides people managers in good practice Organizational Changes Employee level execution for organizational changes; may contribute to analysis driving organizational changes and employee impact decisions To support the implementation / delivery of functional change projects or initiatives where they impact multi country or multi regional level by acting as a coordinator with single aggregation point for the leading HRBP Collation / aggregation of risks / approaches / feedback in planning and design phase Act as communication and tracking conduit to local HRBAs - which may be via regional coordination BA’s Internal HR Partnership Partners with HR Shared Services as they hand off transactional work for completion Partners with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, HRIS, etc. to provide solutions for HR queries from business Support local HR partner with insights on local environment, HR insights and activity awareness. Investigations Conducts workplace investigations, demonstrating effective listening, probing and investigatory skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify root problems/causes, and recommend actions to resolution in partnership with Legal Manages and resolves misconduct / disciplinary / grievance cases Manages and resolves capability and performance cases Manages appeal cases Manages compromise / settlement agreements Data and Analysis Provides routine and ad hoc data analysis to support decision making for supported business unit Uses people 'placemats' to engage with local managers on their people - reviewing people analytics &  providing insights Qualifications 3+ years experience preferred Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.
