The Senior Manager of Finance Reporting Process Architecture will lead the and enhancement of finance reporting processes, translating business objectives into optimal process designs in collaboration with various finance departments. This hands-on requires extensive experience in gathering data requirements and insights from subject matter experts, ensuring that reporting processes align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, customer-focused self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills resourcefulness, and the ability to develop and implement innovative, process-centric solutions. They will have a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving the adoption of new reporting processes to achieve desired outcomes. This role will report to the Finance Experience Product Manager.  Responsibilities Process Design and Optimization Lead the design and re-engineering of finance reporting processes to enhance operational efficiency and scalability, aligning long-term strategies with organizational objectives. Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to diagnose challenges, conduct root cause analysis, and develop sustainable solutions Partner with various finance departments to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that data needs are clearly understood and documented. Translate insights into process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy and stakeholder satisfaction Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including process maps and flowcharts, while utilizing advanced modeling techniques to visualize complex finance reporting processes and their interdependencies Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards, identifying risks associated with process changes and developing effective risk mitigation strategies Testing Strategy Development Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for new finance reporting processes and technology implementations, ensuring alignment with business requirements. This includes creating detailed test cases and scenarios that cover all functional areas, leading functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), and analyzing results to provide actionable feedback to stakeholders for necessary adjustments Change Management and Facilitation Implement effective change management strategies for new reporting processes and systems Develop and lead training initiatives tailored to teams and stakeholders as needed Identify and address risks that hinder the adoption of new reporting processes Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define finance reporting needs, process requirements, and build consensus on strategic initiatives Facilitate interactive workshops with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, map finance reporting processes, and identify improvement opportunities, ensuring stakeholder alignment on objectives and outcomes Performance / Risk Metrics and Reporting Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate finance reporting process performance. Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives Technology Strategy and Integration Collaborate with IT and digital transformation teams to identify and implement innovative technology solutions that enhance finance reporting efficiency. Ensure technology investments align with business objectives and deliver measurable value Contribute to a Culture of Continuous Improvement Provide guidance and mentorship to junior process architects and business analysts within the finance reporting team Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing, encouraging innovative thinking and collaboration within the team Qualifications 8+ years leading cross-functional end-to-end process redesign, transformation, and improvement initiatives   Bachelor’s degree in a related field  Continuous Improvement Certification - Lean Six Sigma or Lean Practitioner preferable  Demonstrated ability to translate process improvement opportunities into simple, practical actions  Success at leading cross-functional workshops and alignment events   Demonstrated success influencing senior leadership decision making, facilitating problem solving, and mediating conflict   Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work, work autonomously with minimal oversight, and be proactive with communications and task prioritization   Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive insights and action  Able to collaborate and influence cross functionally  The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $157,000 to $235,000 per year California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $150,000 to $224,000 per year Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $136,000 to $204,000 per year Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position may be offered in other locations. The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
