Key Responsibilities

Procurement Execution

  • Execute end-to-end procurement of IT goods and services in compliance with company policy and category strategies.
  • Review and validate purchase requisitions, ensuring completeness and alignment with approved buying channels.
  • Create and manage purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up on delivery, changes, and invoicing issues.

Stakeholder & Supplier Collaboration

  • Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, Finance, Legal) and external suppliers to facilitate smooth procurement activities.
  • Support end-users with procurement guidance, catalog use, and self-service tools; escalate and resolve issues where needed.
  • Partner with the Strategic Sourcing team on low-complexity scopes of work and tactical negotiations.

Process Optimization

  • Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with preferred supplier usage, category strategies, and No-PO No-Pay policy.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Maintain procurement records and provide visibility into order status, spend, and supplier performance.
  • Support KPI tracking and reporting activities related to IT procurement.

  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable working with ERP and procurement tools (Oracle, Ariba), and familiar with IT terminology and vendor landscape.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in operational buying or procurement, preferably with exposure to IT categories.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and tools (Oracle, Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is strongly preferred.
