Our client in the broader public sector is hiring a Bilingual Administrative Assistant to provide part-time administrative support to a national program focused on service delivery and stakeholder coordination. This role involves managing high volumes of communication, supporting documentation processes, and assisting with the coordination of meetings and day-to-day operations.
Location: Remote (must reside in Eastern Time Zone, Canada)
Work model: Fully remote
Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday), 7.25 hours/day
Contract duration: 2 months, with possibility of extension
Start date: June 23
Respond to a high volume of emails and phone calls from internal staff, service users, and external partners
Track and organize documentation to support efficient processing of applications and requests
Assign materials to contracted reviewers and ensure timely completion
Classify and file communications and documentation accurately
Provide logistical and administrative support for virtual and in-person meetings, including preparing materials and tracking registrations
Coordinate translation requests from team members and follow up as needed
Perform general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the team
Fluency in English and French, with excellent written and spoken communication skills in both languages (language proficiency will be assessed)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a remote team
Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience
Must be available to start immediately
