Our client in the broader public sector is hiring a Bilingual Administrative Assistant to provide part-time administrative support to a national program focused on service delivery and stakeholder coordination. This role involves managing high volumes of communication, supporting documentation processes, and assisting with the coordination of meetings and day-to-day operations.

  • Location: Remote (must reside in Eastern Time Zone, Canada)

  • Work model: Fully remote

  • Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday), 7.25 hours/day

  • Contract duration: 2 months, with possibility of extension

  • Start date: June 23

Responsibilities

  • Respond to a high volume of emails and phone calls from internal staff, service users, and external partners

  • Track and organize documentation to support efficient processing of applications and requests

  • Assign materials to contracted reviewers and ensure timely completion

  • Classify and file communications and documentation accurately

  • Provide logistical and administrative support for virtual and in-person meetings, including preparing materials and tracking registrations

  • Coordinate translation requests from team members and follow up as needed

  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the team

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and French, with excellent written and spoken communication skills in both languages (language proficiency will be assessed)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a remote team

  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience

  • Must be available to start immediately
