Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Structural Designer in the consulting, engineering & procurement industry in a hybrid work environment in Burlington, Ontario. Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Designer to join their team on a permeant basis. The structural designer will be focused on Industrial projects. This is a hybrid work model - with 3 days in office 2 days remote. A typical day: Prepare 3D structural model and 2D structural drawings - steel & concrete, for industrial projects. Work with other teams to ensure structural drawings incorporate other disciplines requirements. Conduct site visits, inspect existing structures, prepare drawings and sketches of existing structures. Work with designers, engineers and PM's for direction and coordination. Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects. Successful candidates will have: Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology - Structural or Architectural Must possess a Valid Drivers License & reliable transportation to visit client sites as required. 10 - 20 years of consulting experience in structural steel and concrete modeling, design and drafting. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD 2D and 3D drafting is required Ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
