Salary: From 28 to 30 per Hour
 

Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with an organization within the Broader Public Sector space to support the recruitment of a Part-Time Health Program Administrative Officer The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis with a preference of working Tuesday - Thursday on-site out of their DT Vancouver office location. This is a 3 month contract opportunity that may have the potential for further extension based on performance and business needs and will be working a 7.5 hour work day each day. This role will work closely with medical professionals to support with queries, tracking documentation and ensure compliance with immunization competency requirements.

This role is open to all qualified candidates; however, preference may be given to individuals who identify as First Nations, Inuit or Métis and or/have experience working with First Nations,  Inuit or Métis communities. The final hiring decision will be based on merit.
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming emails and queries related to the immunization competency requirements
  • Track and maintain records related to immunization competencies for nursing staff
  • Follow up with medical professionals and teams to ensure all required steps and documentation are complete
  • Use Excel, MS Dynamics, ServiceNow, and Outlook to manage queries and data
  • Collaborate with the current lead and team to identify and suggest process improvements, where possible
  • Proactively seek out answers, provide updates, and support communication flow across teams

Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in customer service or administrative support
  • Experience working with CRMs (MS Dynamics or ServiceNow experience an asset)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage competing priorities
  • Hold a process improvement mindset
  • Healthcare or immunization program experience is helpful but not required – training will be provided
  • Experience working alongside First Nations, Inuit, or Métis communities, businesses, or organizations is considered a strong asset.
