Job Opportunity: Platform Analyst

Altis Technology is seeking a Cloud Platform Analyst who is very well versed with AWS for a contract opportunity with one of our Federal Government Clients. 

What You’ll Do

• Architect and manage scalable cloud data pipelines and infrastructure (AWS, Glue, Athena, PySpark)

• Ensure robust data security, observability, and CI/CD deployment practices

• Develop infrastructure as code (CDK, Terraform, MDAA) and implement anomaly detection

• Deploy and advise on AI/ML MVPs and real-time streaming using TensorFlow, AWS Lambda, Apache Kafka, and more

• Maintain DevOps practices using Azure DevOps and monitor pipeline health via CloudWatch

What You’ll Need

• Degree in IT, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in National Security domains or similar

• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in AWS services, data governance, pipeline health management, infrastructure automation, and AI/ML deployment

• Strong documentation and collaboration skills with Agile/Scrum experience

Assets

• AWS Certifications (Specialty, Professional, or Associate)

• Experience with Modern Data Architecture Accelerator (MDAA)

• Prior work with the Government of Canada on data infrastructure
