We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, relational databases, and Big Data platforms to support high-impact data initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent SQL skills, strong analytical capabilities, and experience working in Agile environments, ideally within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and map source-to-target data, documenting transformation rules and supporting logic.
• Investigate data quality issues by writing complex SQL queries; assist in data repair and migration to new structures.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define transformation logic that meets both acquisition and consumption needs.
• Work closely with architects, modelers, and globally distributed teams to ensure consistency across data models and solutions.
• Develop standards for logical and physical data modeling, and support end-to-end project delivery with thorough documentation.
• Partner with business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive resolution of data-related issues and contribute to high-quality software development practices.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong technical and data-centric focus.
• Proficiency in Oracle, advanced SQL, and basic MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with HDFS-based Big Data platforms for data analysis and issue investigation.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with experience using tools like JIRA and version control systems such as GIT.
• Financial services or regulatory industry experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Capital Markets products (Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with large data sets and complex data environments.
