Overview:
Our client in Vancouver, BC is seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in frontend and backend development using modern JavaScript technologies such as React, Node.js, and SAP UI5. This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-grade applications with a collaborative and forward-thinking development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze software requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Design and implement high-quality, maintainable code for both frontend and backend components.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, identifying and addressing root causes.

• Maintain and enhance existing codebases to ensure long-term reliability and performance.

• Uphold best practices in software engineering and promote code quality across the team.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying them where appropriate.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different departments and geographies.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

• Work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring timely delivery of tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Software Developer in a full stack role.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and database technologies.

• Hands-on experience with both frontend and backend development.

• Proficient in building web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and jQuery.

• Solid experience with modern frameworks such as Node.js, React.js, Redux, and SAP UI5.

• Proven track record of developing scalable and secure enterprise-grade software solutions.

• Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture, and best practices.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
