Make Trash Your Treasure – Janitorial & Compost Sorter Wanted! Agilus is recruiting for multiple Compost Sorter / Janitorials in the Food Distribution Industry in Debert, Nova Scotia. Responsible for sorting waste to ensure proper composting, recycling, and disposal. Maintains cleanliness of facilities by performing routine janitorial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies. Supports sustainability and hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Separating waste material from packaging Rinsing out Yogurt containers Disposing of Produce in proper area Disposing of Carboard in proper area Maintains cleanliness of facilities by performing routine janitorial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies Supports sustainability and hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment Any other duties as necessary You bring: Reliable transportation - this role is not on a bus route Must be able to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Follow Health and Safety protocol Able to work 40 hours a week What's in it for you: Day shift 7:00am - 3:30pm 40 hour work week Potential to turn into a permanent position $16.50 an hour Ready!
