Our federal government client is seeking the services of an experienced Cloud Platform Analyst to join their team. This is a 2-year remote contract with 3 optional periods.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Assisting with options analysis and recommending cloud adoption strategies tailored to both AWS and Azure platforms for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud solutions.
  • Implementing solutions to validate recommended strategies, leveraging AWS, Azure, and containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Preparing and analyzing detailed application requirements, including resource sizing, technical dependencies, interfaces, performance metrics, and redundancy.
  • Configuring and optimizing IaaS cloud services, such as AWS EC2 and Azure Virtual Machines, and implementing security controls to ensure compliance with the Government of Canada requirements
  • Configuring and optimizing PaaS cloud services, such as AWS API Gateways, AWS CloudFront, Azure Storage, Azure API, etc, and implementing security controls to ensure compliance with Government of Canada requirements.
  • Developing and managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud development environments using tools compatible with both AWS and Azure ecosystems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud support, tenant operations and delivery of Platform Services
  • 7+ years of experience assisting with options analysis and recommending cloud adoption strategies tailored to both AWS and Azure platforms for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud solutions
  • Secret clearance
