Agilus is recruiting for a Quality System Engineer in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry in Windsor, Ontario. Our Automotive Manufacturing client is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to support in maintaining and improvement the Quality Management Systems and implement corrective actions and findings from audits. A typical day: Conduct internal audits according to standards like IATF 16949, VDA, and AIAG CQI standards (e.g., CQI-9 for heat treating, CQI-15 for welding). Work with teams to close out corrective actions identified during audits and implement changes. Act as the point of contact between the company and external auditors or registrars. Manage and interpret customer-specific quality requirements and provide technical support. Drive improvements in the Business Management System (BMS) and document control processes. Successful candidates will have: Four-year college degree, or equivalent experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. Certified ISO/TS16949 Internal Auditor with a minimum of 3 years internal audit experience. IATF and VDA certifications are preferred. Familiarity with AIAG Core Tools such as: PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) SPC (Statistical Process Control) APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) Total rewards: Base salary + quarterly and annual bonuses.
