Technology Architect (Cloud) 
Duration: 2 Years + 3 Optional Periods
Location: Remote 
Security Clearance: Secret

Altis Technology is seeking a Cloud Technology Architect for a contract opportunity with one of our Federal Government clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure and migration strategies (AWS/Azure)

• Lead technical planning for cloud modernization projects

• Evaluate and recommend scalable and secure cloud architecture solutions

• Align with enterprise architecture and GC cloud strategies

• Develop architecture documentation, roadmaps, and security practices

• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer

Must-Have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Cloud Architect (AWS and/or Azure)

• Active Secret Clearance (Government of Canada)

Highly Valued Experience (Rated):

• 7+ years in cloud infrastructure design, security by design, IaC (e.g. Terraform, Bicep), enterprise architecture alignment, tenant architecture, and proof-of-concept implementations

• Familiarity with Government of Canada’s cloud (SC2G, GC Strategies, ASEA/LZA)

• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
