The Legal Services Division of the Ministry of Justice supports the Minister in providing legal advice to the Premier and Cabinet. With a comprehensive understanding of government’s legislative and regulatory frameworks, policy objectives, and key programs, the division provides legal services and advice to all government departments.

Reporting to the Manager of Business Operations, as the Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence within the Legal Services Division. In this position, you will support the delivery of high-quality legal services by enhancing systems, streamlining processes, and improving overall operational effectiveness. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, as the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and integrating business management solutions for critical legal systems, including eDiscovery system Nuix, case management, time tracking, and document management platforms.
In this role, you will require a strategic mindset and a strong grasp of IT advancements to ensure solutions meet the evolving needs of all Legal Services teams. Through leadership in project planning and execution, you will ensure that systems and processes are continuously optimized and aligned with both divisional and organizational objectives—ultimately strengthening the quality, efficiency, and responsiveness of legal services.

Requirements:
A 4-year university degree in a related field, such as Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field plus a minimum of two (2) years related experience.
