3 month Turnaround project placement opportunity just outside Edmonton! Agilus is recruiting for a Permit Writer - Turnaround in the Oil&Gas Industry in Redwater, Alberta. The Turnaround Operations Permit Issuer will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with team members from Operations, Contractors, Technical Services, and HSER. During Turnaround execution, the role will transition to 6-1 (solely allocated to dayshift or nightshift). Responsibilities: Audit Isolations and Critical work packages to ensure SWS requirements are being met Provides schedule updates to the TA Operations Coordinator Ensure permitting and Critical Work Packages are effectively managed across all crews Support associated meetings to support TA work execution and achieve, safety, quality, schedule, cost objectives Support Incident Investigations from a Field Operations perspective Support the close-out of Go-No-Go punch items assigned to Operations Assist Unit Team with the Operating Instructions (DOI’s) to safely achieve the schedule Support updating TA document redlines (Procedures, Isolations, work packages, etc.) Requirements: Minimum 4th class ABSA certification Minimum five (5) years of industry experience Experience supporting turnaround/shutdown events Proficient using a CMMS/EAM as well as scheduling systems Skilled user of “Maximo” would be an asset What's in it for you: 3 month contract with possible extension High earning potential - 6 days on 1 day off schedule valuable resume strengthening placement
