About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who can bridge the gap between finance and data. This role is focused on understanding what the business needs to see in its reporting and translating those needs into clear, actionable guidance for technical teams.

You’ll work closely with business leaders to shape key performance indicators, outline reporting structures, and ensure that analytics tools are being used to deliver real business value — all without having to build the reports yourself.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and define business requirements for reports, dashboards, and KPIs

• Translate reporting needs into functional documentation for technical teams

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify priorities and reporting expectations

• Validate report outputs, conduct reviews using Excel and other business tools

• Participate in user acceptance testing and support the documentation process

• Recommend enhancements to existing reporting frameworks

Ideal Candidate

• Background in finance, FP&A, or business analysis

• Strong understanding of reporting logic, KPIs, and financial metrics

• Confident working with technical developers or BI teams

• Proficient in Excel and comfortable reviewing large datasets

• Effective communicator who can translate between business and technical audiences

• Organized and methodical, with a strong focus on data accuracy

• Familiarity with enterprise reporting platforms or tools

• Experience in medium to large organizations with complex reporting needs

• Exposure to integrated data environments (e.g., ERP, data warehouses)
