Your Opportunity
Our Burnaby office has an opportunity for a Site Superintendent, Engineer or Engineering Technologist. This position would be for resident, field inspections in the spring, summer and fall, and project management, contract administration, reports and proposals in the off season.
Your Key Responsibilities
This role will be supporting multi-disciplinary municipal civil projects, related to new build and infrastructure renewal.

Infrastructure Planning and Design of:
Water Distribution Systems
Sanitary and Storm Sewer Collection Systems
Reservoirs / Pump Stations / Lift Stations

Client Development and Management
Business Development and Revenue Generation
Construction Management Supervision for Large and Complex Projects
Project Management for Large and Complex Projects
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage and technically support projects
Ability to develop and manage clients

Demonstrate a willingness to strive for excellence in all aspects of their work activities

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Education and Experience:
Minimum of ten years working as a Site Superintendent or Site Forman supervising a crew.
Minimum of ten years’ experience in water infrastructure, transportation or community development, construction inspection or design.
A B.Sc. or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution would be an asset but is not required.
A CET, EIT or P.Eng. with eligibility for registration with ASTTBC or EGBC would be an asset but is not required.
Position will work in both a field and office setting. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Must be available to travel for out of town projects when needed.

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
