Agilus is recruiting for a Terminal Operator in the oil & gas industry in Port Moody/Vancouver, British Columbia. Responsibilities: Performs duties relative to the maintenance, repair and operation of the facility. May be required to assist maintenance personnel with repairs to electrical and mechanical equipment on the systems. Participates in after-hours callout to troubleshoot as the need arises and for operational and mechanical issues and emergency response. Assists and supports the Site Manager by participating in assessments, inspections, and initiatives as required. Assists with the completion of all site assigned tasks in compliance with PDM procedures. Provides direction, training and mentoring to junior employees and contractors Responds to breakdown and equipment failures as required Contributes to budget preparation and cost reporting. Supports site management in assessing staffing requirements based on experience and forecasted demands. Demonstrates the ability to perform and coordinate functions related to: o Rail Operations (safety sensitive) o Marine Operations (safety sensitive) o Pipeline Receipts (safety sensitive) o Lube Operations o Weigh scale Operations o Truck Operations o Tank Farm Operations o Aviation Operations o Technical Journey Entry Level applicable for Terminal operations Successful candidates will have: In depth knowledge of measurement practices Strong computer skills including Excel and Word. Excellent understanding of product quality requirements Secondary/ High School Diploma or college level degree or equivalent work experience required Minimum 100% of assigned Stage 3 Training per GMT Standards Experience as a Terminal Operator Extensive knowledge of the applicable rules, regulations and standards for the operation Valid Driver’s License Total rewards: $46.11 hourly 12 months contract position Work Schedule: 3 days on / 3 days off
