Job Title: Receptionist (Temporary)
Duration: June 20th, 2025 - July 21st, 2025
Location: North York
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Summary:
Our client, in the nonprofit sector, is seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Temporary Receptionist. This role will primarily support our front desk operations, acting as the main backup to our receptionist during a temporary absence. Fluency in French is an asset for effective communication with our diverse clientele.
Roles and Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
Schedule appointments and meetings.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and filing.
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in administrative or receptionist roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong communication skills in English; fluency in French is an asset but not mandatory.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
