You will be responsible for maintaining maximum security protocols while monitoring individuals under immigration hold at specialized detention facilities.
This role demands specialized security expertise and unwavering attention to detail, with an emphasis on maintaining constant situational awareness.
In this critical security role, you will:
Execute rigorous protection protocols for people, assets, and high-security areas
Deal with detainees.
Conduct secure escorts utilizing advanced restraint techniques and strict safety procedures
Maintain professional composure while demonstrating appropriate empathy when dealing with high-risk situations
Perform continuous behavioral assessment and surveillance of detainees
Execute systematic security patrols of all facilities with heightened attention to secure zones
Operate advanced security systems, and surveillance technology
Generate detailed incident reports with strict adherence to security protocols
Implement advanced tactical intervention and de-escalation techniques in high-risk scenarios
Full Admissions and Discharge training and protocols will need to be held as well.
Note: Prior Control/Dispatch experience required. Attention to detail, multitasking, good communication and decision-making skills.
• A valid Ontario security guard license
• A valid and current First Aid/CPR certificate from a WSIB-recognized training provider
• Canadian citizenship or 5-years permanent residence status
• Minimum high school diploma from a recognized education provider
• Ability to pass a Public Works Clearance and a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Available to work flexible hours, in a full-time or part-time capacity.
• 1 year experience working in a vulnerable sector.
• 1 year tactical security guard experience
• Ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities.
• Experience working in a high-stress environment with quick responsiveness to emergency situations.
• Understanding of the importance of conciseness, security, and safety
