This is not your average audit ‘desk job’. As a Surface Material Auditor with the Crown Land Enforcement Branch, you will be at the front line of safeguarding Alberta’s valuable natural assets—verifying that aggregate operators are fulfilling their lease reporting conditions and accurately reporting extracted materials and paying the royalties owed to the Crown.
Reporting to the Team Lead – Crown Land Audit Unit, the Surface Material Auditor impacts not only the economic returns that Albertans receive for the use of those surface materials, but also the long-term management and sustainability of public lands.

Required:
Equivalencies may be considered: A related two-year diploma plus 6 years of related experience. Additional related education considered in lieu of experience on basis of one year of experience for one year of education.

This competition is for two full-time temporary positions located in Edmonton. Duration – 18 months and 2 years.
Monday – Friday, 7.25 hours per day / 36.25 hours per week.
These positions require field/outdoor work with travel of up to 25%.
