Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Team Manager, Account Transfers to join their team in a full-time, permanent role. The Team Manager is responsible for leading a team of operations professionals, overseeing daily workflows, and ensuring service level expectations are consistently met. This individual ensures that all processes align with internal compliance and risk management standards while maintaining a strong client service focus.
This is a hybrid position, requiring two days in-office per week, and offers 100% employer-paid benefits, a bonus structure, RSP matching, 3 weeks vacation, and more!
Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure service levels and compliance standards are met.
Provide guidance, resolve issues, deliver training, and contribute to planning and reporting initiatives.
Continuously assess and improve business practices within Account Transfers.
Develop and maintain procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, and support audit readiness.
Lead and coach the team to achieve performance goals, ensure alignment with organizational values, and support skill development.
Contribute to strategic initiatives, including client onboarding and cross-functional planning.
Collaborate with internal leaders and external partners to resolve issues, enhance processes, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
A degree or diploma in a related field.
4+ years of experience in financial services with extensive experience in transfers.
3+ years of people leadership skills.
Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing tasks in fast-paced environments; self-motivated, highly organized, and committed to delivering excellent customer service
Experience in coaching, training, or mentoring teams.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
