We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager with a strong technical foundation in ServiceNow, in-depth knowledge of public sector financial systems, and the ability to lead offshore delivery teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and has a proven ability to deliver high-impact IT projects within the Ontario public sector landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for IT initiatives focused on ServiceNow implementations, integrations, and enhancements.

  • Oversee financial systems projects in alignment with Ontario government regulations, budgeting cycles, and reporting requirements.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs, and resource allocations.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between onshore business units and offshore development/support teams.

  • Coordinate vendor activities and ensure compliance with public procurement policies.

  • Deliver regular status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings to internal leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure that all solutions meet Ontario government standards for data privacy, security, and accessibility.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of IT project management experience, ideally in the public sector

  • 5+ years working on ServiceNow projects (implementations or enhancements)

  • Strong understanding of public sector financial systems, budgeting, and reporting in Ontario or similar Canadian jurisdictions

  • Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project methodologies

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification

  • ITIL certification, with emphasis on ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, or CSM

  • Experience working with Ontario government ministries, Crown corporations, or public agencies

  • Familiarity with public procurement and vendor management best practices

  • Previous involvement in digital transformation initiatives within government organizations
