Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to support a long-term initiative focused on testing and validating HRIS/HCM systems. This role requires strong manual testing skills and hands-on experience with data migration and system integrations in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for HRIS/HCM systems and their integrations.

  • Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring software meets business and user requirements.

  • Validate data integrity and accuracy during data migration processes.

  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or similar.

  • Analyze test results and provide clear reporting to technical teams and project stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with developers, BAs, and HR stakeholders to support testing activities throughout the SDLC.

  • 5+ years of QA experience in software testing environments.

  • Proven expertise in manual testing, particularly in HRIS/HCM platforms (Workday or Accero experience is required).

  • Experience testing data migrations and software/data integrations.

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect management tools.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, or similar platforms is a plus.

  • Degree or diploma in Software Development, Computer Programming, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.

  • Familiarity with security policies and best practices is preferred.
