As a Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for providing human resources functions at your location, including recruitment, payroll, pension and benefits, talent management, job evaluation, recognition and learning and development. You will investigate and analyze grievances and complaints and work with the business, employees and unions (if applicable) to identify sources of conflict and complaints and resolve them to ensure smooth business operations. You will also ensure compliance with the Health and Safety program.
The Human Resources Manager will be asked to provide their operational perspective and expertise on new programs and policies that will impact employees and the business and to recommend improvements to existing programs, policies and processes.
This is a hands-on role, working as a team with local management. If you are passionate about all aspects of human resources and understand the value of people, and are detailed oriented and organized this is the opportunity for you.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), an asset

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
