Manulife is seeking a dedicated and motivated Manulife Insurance Advisor (MIA) to join our Individual Insurance Canada segment. This role focuses exclusively on selling life and living benefits insurance solutions, including Manulife Vitality. The MIA will partner with external Dealer firms and MGA advisors to facilitate the sale of life and living benefits solutions to their clients, handling the end-to-end journey for the client's insurance needs on behalf of the referring advisor.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Conduct thorough needs analysis and consultations with clients referred by Dealer firms and MGA advisors.
  • Insurance Sales: Sell Manulife life and living benefits insurance solutions, including Vitality behavioral insurance.
  • End-to-End Client Journey: Manage the entire insurance process from initial consultation to policy issuance.
  • Collaboration: Partner with external advisors to support their clients' insurance needs, ensuring seamless integration and communication.
  • Client Servicing: Provide ongoing support and servicing for issued policies, maintaining strong client relationships.

Required Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience, preferably in insurance sales or client advisory roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong client service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Ability to conduct detailed needs analysis and provide tailored insurance solutions.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools for client management and insurance processing.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to working with external advisors.

Salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
