We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to support a cross-functional identity and access management (IAM) initiative within a large enterprise environment. This role involves gathering and documenting complex business and technical requirements, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and supporting solution evaluations, testing, and deployment across multiple project phases.
The ideal candidate brings expertise in enterprise-level IAM frameworks, has worked with technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and is experienced in driving process improvement, business change, and technology enablement in complex stakeholder environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead business analysis activities in support of IAM-related projects, working across departments and technical teams.
Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Conduct current and future state business process analysis and support system design alignment.
Translate business needs into clear documentation including specifications, use cases, user stories, and decision records.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and presentations to ensure alignment and engagement.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training materials, and end-user documentation.
Assist in the evaluation and deployment of IAM solutions and tools.
Provide strategic and tactical insights on IAM, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and entitlement management.
Support change management and communication activities across user groups.
Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, and cybersecurity teams to ensure deliverables meet business objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
10+ years of experience in business analysis, including stakeholder engagement and enterprise systems projects.
5+ years of experience in senior BA roles on IAM or access control-related initiatives.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and modern authentication mechanisms (MFA, SAML, OATH).
Experience in business process modeling, requirements gathering, and documentation using industry standards.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality analysis in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
