Services
The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services to the Bank: Under the direction of the Director, Supervision Portfolio:
- Provide project management expertise for all project activities by working with stakeholders, project team members and groups across the Bank using proven project management best practices and methodologies
- Oversee the project during the solution selection, configuration, implementation and transition to operations support by ensuring resources are adequately utilized and the project is completed and fully operational within previously agreed upon timelines and performance parameters
- Assist with the development of project plans and prioritize work to achieve project objectives
- Work with project resources and collaborate with other teams, as required
- Monitor project risks, issues, and interdependencies while delivering defined scope and work plans within defined quality and timeframes
- Prepare plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing, displaying and socializing progress, challenges, issues, and problems by using a variety of project management tools
- Track, monitor, and communicate project progress (team velocity) against project plan, requirements, quality measures, standard processes, and milestones using a variety of project management tools
- Maintain effective and collaborative business relationships with stakeholders to effectively oversee projects by ensuring understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns
- Communicate unplanned project activities like re-planning, re-calibration, etc.
- Oversee and assist with the implementation of medium-to-large sized projects
- Act as a central point of contact for all project resources and subject matter experts
- Assist with developing and maintaining supporting documentation, executive briefings, and records of decisions, while ensuring completeness and consistency aligned with the Bank’s document-management policies
- Organize electronic material in a way that items can be shared with others in a timely manner
- Collect, assess, and prepare background materials for workshops, meetings, and presentations
- Track and coordinate change notices, requests, and modifications to project documentation, including, but not limited to, naming conventions, versioning, and templates
- Assist project resources in the drafting and issuance of project deliverables and associated documentation to stakeholders and follow-up for input and feedback
- Other related activities and deliverables, as required
Required Qualifications & Skills
The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
- University degree or college diploma in information technology, project management, business analysis or a related field
- A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience using Agile or hybrid delivery approaches (Agile/Waterfall) to deliver strategic projects
- A minimum of five (5) years of recent demonstrated experience on medium-to-large sized projects
- Demonstrated ability to communicate to all levels of an organization using clear and compelling written products and oral presentations/briefings.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple initiatives concurrently and effectively managing interdependencies
Additional Qualifications
- Project Management Institute (PMI) - Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) certifications
- SCRUM Master Certification
