If you're looking for a job where you have significant responsibility, this is the one for you! As a Bilingual SOC Operator, you will play a vital role in our control centre. This is a part time weekend role (Saturday and Sunday) for the hours of 8:00am-8:00pm (continental schedule).

Responsibilities for Bilingual SOC Operator:

This position is responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are applied in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures as outlined for the specific customer to protect people, information and assets. Maintaining a high level of diligence, the position will answer phone calls relative to alarms and security events, conduct virtual patrols and investigations, complete reports within prescribed Case Management system, maintain logs and trackers, and ensure incident escalations are followed.

The incumbent will require the following skill set:

 

Responsible for all duties performed while on shift to ensure quality service is being provided to both internal and external customers.

  • Recognize the difference between Level 1 and Level 2 incidents as outlined to ensure appropriate procedures are applied
  • Interact with Alarm Monitoring Station, National Operations Center and ensure Mobile Units are dispatched accordingly
  • Process Guard Requests and receive confirmation that shifts have been scheduled
  • Conduct CCTV investigations, Virtual patrols and System health checks
  • Document accurate information on required Trackers and Master reports
  • Generate incidents in the Case Management system accurately
  • Follow all BCP procedures directly or indirectly affecting the PSOC
  • Ensure all Incident Escalations are followed utilizing applicable procedures and distribution lists
  • Maintain all performance metrics as an individual contributor as well as a member of the service delivery team
  • Participate in projects and initiatives as assignedAbility to create to a positive work environment and create a team atmosphere to obtain desired results from others
  • Ability to make decisions and triage according to business needs
  • Strong communication skills – listening, spoken and written
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively prioritize work output
  • Computer skills – ability to use Microsoft office suite of programs with efficiency in addition to other software platforms
  • Self- motivated able to achieve goals
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ensures all duties are conducted within GardaWorld Professional Standard guidelines and Business Management Manual

Qualifications for Bilingual SOC Operator:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must have 1-3 years experience working in a Operations Centre or Call Centre enviroment 

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software platforms

  • Ability to work on a non-routine continental schedule (including weekends)

  • Eligible to work in Canada

  • Ability to remain professional under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
