The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) has one (1) exciting fixed-term opportunity up to July 25, 2025, within the Technology branch at the CATSA HQ.

Summary of responsibilities:

The Manager, IT Infrastructure Operations is responsible for the management of End-User Computing, Unified Communications, IT Infrastructure Administration and Network Administration teams. They are responsible to ensure corporate IT services and infrastructure are efficiently effective to support corporate objectives. The Manager, Network Operations performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.

What you need to succeed

To qualify for the position, you must have:

  • Successful completion of a college diploma or university degree with specialization in computer science, information technology, information management, or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in a related, progressive operational roles.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience leading teams.
  • Extensive experience with IT Infrastructure, networking, and IT security.
  • Experience in planning, developing and implementing technical standards, practices and procedures.
  • Experience providing advice and recommendations to senior management.
  • Knowledge of theories, principles and practices of operational planning and management, guidelines and process development and information gathering and research.
  • Knowledge of and experience in contract and budget management.

Specific work requirements

  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Language Profile: Bilingual CBCC;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance;
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
