Summary

The Senior Specialist Information Security is responsible for partnering with Bell Business Markets, as the Information Security prime to support RFPs and contract renewals, and for leading and executing risk assessments on new and existing suppliers (supplier assurance), as well as technology projects (project assurance) with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and M365/Power Platform deployment.

This role requires a deep understanding risk assessment methodologies and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct project assessments on Artificial Intelligence programs and on-going M365 enhancements. Assign a risk based on Information Security’s Risk Framework.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify control gaps and make recommendations to close gaps that reduce risk identified.
  • Prepare comprehensive assessment reports, summarizing findings and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Partnering with BBM to review security contract language found in customer contracts to determine if Bell can meet obligations requested.
  • Provide feedback on security contractual language during customer contract negotiations.
  • Liaise with customer to demonstrate Bell Information Security Policies, as mandated by customer contracts; participate in Bell customer requested audits.
  • Conduct assessments of new and existing Bell suppliers, utilizing Bell’s supplier self-assessment questionnaire.
  • Identify business risk and impact analysis. Develop and propose action plans to limit the risks to contractual obligations and good management.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Security’s Supplier Assessment program team, Procurement and other relevant teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessment data in OneTrust, Jira, Confluence.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of Assurance assessment processes and tools.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and relevant standards.
  • Support the Senior Manager and Team Leads in various tasks as needed.

Critical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business - specializing in IT audit, or a related field.
  • 5 years’ experience in information security and/or IT audit
  • 1-2 years experience in AI governance and technologies
  • In-depth knowledge and experience ISO, NIST, PCI, national, international cyber regulations, and risk management frameworks
  • The following certifications are an asset:  CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIA
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual – English and French
  • Exposure to Bell Business Markets and Supply Chain
  • Working knowledge of OneTrust, Tableau, Jira, Confluence
