Employment Type: 24-month contract with possible extension
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM CST (7.25 hours/day, unpaid statutory holidays)
Our public-sector client seeks an Enterprise Architect to lead technical solutions aligned with enterprise standards, governance, and strategic goals. This role requires designing scalable architectures, ensuring compliance, and translating complex business needs into innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Solution Design & Governance:
Develop high-level architectures for multi-platform, SaaS/PaaS, and complex integration scenarios.
Align solutions with enterprise roadmaps, principles, and security standards.
Create templates for architecture documents and governance frameworks.
Business & Technical Analysis:
Document business drivers, processes, and IT operational constraints.
Translate requirements into actionable designs while managing risks, costs, and timelines.
Innovation & Strategy:
Research emerging technologies (IoT, cloud, data analytics) and develop enterprise roadmaps.
Lead reviews of proposed architectures to ensure alignment with standards.
Collaboration:
Present to senior executives and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Work with cross-functional teams to refine deliverables and avoid repetitive rework.
Experience:
8+ years in IT roles within complex enterprise environments.
5+ years in Enterprise Architecture, including 3+ years designing n-tier/platform solutions.
Expertise in ETL tools, data integration, middleware, and process re-engineering.
Technical Skills:
Mastery of Information Architecture (data management, integration, quality).
Proven ability to design solutions for SaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud environments.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills to simplify technical jargon for diverse audiences.
Adaptability in dynamic environments and team collaboration.
Certifications (Preferred): TOGAF, Zachmann, ITIL.
Work Model: Primarily onsite in Winnipeg; remote work at client’s discretion.
Background Checks: Clean criminal record (mandatory, at Proponent’s cost). Enhanced checks may apply.
Billing: Only paid for approved project time (waiting periods/unapproved rework excluded).
Cell Phone: Provided by the Proponent.

Growth: Lead high-visibility projects with executive engagement.
