Our client in the healthcare and public safety services industry is hiring for Administrative Support Staff. This role supports a provincially mandated remedial driving program that assists individuals in British Columbia and Ontario. You’ll be responsible for processing referrals, managing registration and payment coordination, and delivering high-volume customer service in a fast-paced call center environment.
Location & Work Model: Hybrid – minimum 2 days on-site per week, remaining remote (Toronto, ON)
Pay Rate: Up to $34.00/hour
Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours/day
Contract Duration: 3-month contract with the possibility of extension
Manage a high-volume call center, handling 60+ calls per shift with empathy and professionalism
Register program participants, verify eligibility, and facilitate payment submissions
Provide support to participants requiring assistance with payment over the phone
Ensure data accuracy and timely processing of referrals and program information
Maintain accurate records, compile participant statistics, and generate reports
Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, document editing, scanning, and filing
Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative, call center, or clerical support roles
Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage interactions with distressed or frustrated clients
Excellent attention to detail — must be able to double-check work and avoid errors
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and database systems
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Ability to multitask and prioritize work under time pressure
Flexible to adjust to scheduling changes or support when needed
French language skills are an asset
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a call center or client-facing administrative role, particularly in high-volume, detail-sensitive environments.
