About the Role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance our learning and talent management capabilities. You will work with advanced technology solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
Enablement Lead: Oversee learning, development, and talent systems, ensuring alignment with the Talent and Development Center of Excellence.
Technical Support: Provide consultative support and business analysis to design and implement strategic solutions.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to collect business requirements, develop, test, and deploy solutions that enhance learning and talent management.
Risk Management: Facilitate privacy impact assessments, risk reviews, and participate in vendor release activities.
Stakeholder Communication: Influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive project success.
GenAI Technologies: Understand and leverage GenAI technologies, including model development, API integration, and deployment.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data to inform L&D technology strategies and measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
Future Skills: Anticipate future skill requirements and develop technology strategies for upskilling and reskilling.
Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives that leverage GenAI to create innovative learning solutions.
Agile Methodologies: Utilize agile methodologies and work within self-managed technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Strategic Planning: Participate in HR Technology Book of Work planning efforts and influence the technology roadmap.
Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a technology expert across Talent Management, Performance Enablement, Development, and Culture domains.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience with Learning and Talent Management technologies in global, large-scale initiatives.
Proven experience in system development lifecycle, process re-engineering, and technology implementations.
Strong understanding of Learning and Talent Management processes and technologies (e.g., Workday, EdCast, Cornerstone).
Excellent communication, consultative, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinking and results-driven mindset.
Experience with agile or self-managed technology teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications in Human Centered Design, CHRP/CHRL, or PMP are an asset.
Experience in insurance, financial, or highly regulated environments is preferred.

Working Arrangement
Salary range is expected to be between
$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
