Role & Values:

As the Director of Global Program Management, you'll collaborate closely with the Global Head of Digital Transformation and cross-functional partners, structuring programs, tracking outcomes, and addressing blockers. What you’ll do

  • Own and drive large-scale programs across Manulife segments and business-units

  • Aggregate a clear and ongoing view of the program financials, and outcome tracking

  • Highlight key issues, risks and blockers requiring immediate action or intervention

  • Lead Executive Steering Committees synthesizing program status in senior executive forums

  • Ensure Adherence to the Manulife Outcome Delivery Framework where applicable

  • Support the coordination and management of projects across segments including follow ups on additional information required from project managers/product leads on global projects based on asks for global digital leadership team

  • Provide support to ensure Governance model executed in the most efficient manner and is updated/refined on an ongoing basis based on learning from ongoing execution

  • Foster continued learning and development, facilitating continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with Global Agile Office to evolve toward an increasingly agile, continuous delivery operating model

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree from a top-tier university; MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of progressive work experience in Financial Industry

  • 5+ years of applied experience in delivering complex projects

  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM or Scaled Agile methodologies are a plus

  • Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs or MarTech is a plus

  • Experience in Agile ways of working, with a strong outcome-driven focus

  • Outstanding analytical skills, and proven leadership ability

  • Initiative, willingness to take personal risks, and excellent communication skills

Working Arrangement

Salary range is expected to be between

$105,750.00 CAD - $190,350.00 CAD
