About Our Opportunity


As Senior Business Analyst / Product Manager, you’ll join the Service Design and Delivery team to provide digital solutions built around the needs of users.  You’ll act as a critical bridge between government partners and delivery teams as you identify areas for product improvement, define requirements, and ensure timely execution.  You’ll collaborate with technical experts, Service Designers, Project Managers, and other professionals to develop new products for a variety of initiatives, and you’ll support existing software that is critical to delivering government programs and services.
 

Primary Accountabilities


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Engage with internal government staff, external partners, and the public and communicating their needs as inputs into software design and development.
  • Work with policy, process, legislation, and business subject matter experts to gain a comprehensive and detail-oriented understanding of requirements.
  • Create process diagrams, requirements documentation, mock-ups, and other artifacts to describe requirements for a delivery team.
  • Identify accessibility and inclusion requirements for products and services.
  • Conduct product testing and facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure products meet user needs.
  • Build and maintain a prioritized backlog of product improvements to guide continuous delivery.
     

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma and at least (6) years relevant experience.
  • Significant experience in gathering requirements, writing user stories, and conducting current state/future state analysis.
  • Hands on experience with the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience planning and leading workshops and research activities across digital transformation projects.
  • Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities to manage complex and competing needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience with Agile software delivery methodologies.
  • Self-starter, adaptable, and willing to take on various responsibilities to ensure the successful delivery of products and services.

Salary Range:  $3,107.16 - $3,649.33 Bi-Weekly
