Eligibility:
This posting is open to Permanent Teachers and Probationary Teachers currently employed by Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board.
Salary Range:
Paid based on the salary grid of the Collective Agreement with OECTA according to QECO rating and years of experience.

Reporting to the Superintendent of School Effectiveness, the successful candidate will support faith development and the building of Catholic character and culture within school communities through the effective delivery of Indigenous Education programs which will include the integration of faith across the curriculum. The successful candidate will support an inquiry-based approach to Indigenous education focusing on the themes of teaching and learning, student engagement and issues of equity and inclusion linked to the Board Improvement Plan for Student Achievement.
The successful candidate must be an effective communicator who has demonstrated the ability to collaborate as team with school and board staff as well as parish and community partners and will work as part of an integrated team supporting the work of the system in partnership with other central staff. In addition, the successful candidate must be committed to their own faith and professional development within a framework of an authentic ministry of service.
The successful candidate will work out of the Board Office, in Napanee, and will be expected to provide their own vehicle to travel to school sites. Travel expenses will be paid according to Article 25 of the current Collective Agreement.
