Agilus is recruiting for a Millwright - Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry in Burlington, Ontario. Continental shift A typical day: Work in all areas (general millwright) with an emphasis on preventative maintenance Maintain the following equipment: Injection Machines, Lining Machines, Assembly Machines, Utility Sport Equipment, Injection Molds, Assembly Molds, Tooling Trouble shooting, carrying out necessary repairs and conducting preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, molds, support equipment and packaging equipment. Ensure that all food safety issues are reported to the appropriate manager or supervisor. Successful candidates will have: Licensed Millwright Technical college diploma in related field or industrial trade license is preferred. 2 – 5 years’ experience in the following areas: ISO Implementation, Health and Safety, WHMIS, Mold Repair, Injection Molding Process and Troubleshooting, High Speed Packaging equipment repair, Facility equipment maintenance and repair. Competent in several of the following areas: windows-based programs, blueprint reading, pneumatics, hydraulics, injection processing, electrical code, PLC troubleshooting, electrical controls, machine shop equipment, metal fabrication, mechanical principles, welding, brazing, plumbing. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
